Bella's Bliss Balls

Updated: Jul 2

This was hands down one of my most popular recipes on my previous website.

These Bliss Balls are really easy to make and taste amazing. Being full of goodness, it's hard to believe that they can taste so good.

This recipe is Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan. Enjoy!!

You will need

1/4 Cup Coconut Oil

1/2 Cup Cacao Powder

1 Cup Nuts (I usually use Almonds. Walnuts are great also)

1 Cup Dried Fruit soaked in bowl of warm water (my fave is Goji Berries. Prunes, Dates, Figs or Apricots are also delish and you can always do a combo)

1 Tbs Chia Seeds

3/4 Cup Shredded Coconut

To make

Keep 1/4 Cup Shredded Coconut aside

Place all remaining ingredients (including fruit that has been soaking) in a chopper, blender or Thermomix

Blend until all ingredients are combined and chopped finely

Roll in to balls of your desired size

Roll in shredded coconut

Place in fridge and set for approx 1 hour (if you can wait that long) Yum!

Tips

If your coconut oil is hard, you may need to soften it a little before mixing

If your blender isn't very strong, you might be best to chop your nuts first then add all other ingredients

Make double and store in the freezer for easy snacking
