I normally get absolutely eaten by mosquitoes but I really don't like using mosquito repellent sprays as I know how toxic they all are.
So I thought that I would try making my own Mozzie Spray.
The first time I used it, I sat outside, even through dusk and not one bite!!!! Not one. I couldn't be happier with the results.
This Mozzie Spray is completely natural and it even smells quite nice on my skin.
Hooray for homemade, Zero Waste and non toxic. Plus cost wise it is quite frugal to make as a little goes a long way and it doesn't use up a heap of your essential oils.
You will need
1 Small Glass Spray Bottle
20 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
20 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
20 Drops Lemongrass Essential Oil
20 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil
1 Tablespoon of a carrier oil (eg fractionated coconut oil)
Water
I like these Australian Essential Oils. Click here
To make

To use
Shake before use as the water and oils will separate

Depending on your skin type and how it absorbs oil, you may need to re-spray after a few hours.
